Our Love Story
Rio's POV
It all started in a prayer in the year 2022.I asked the Lord to reveal the suitable helper He prepared for me but that time I was not involved in body ministry yet that was why His first instructions for me was to Seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. In May 2022, following God's instructions I, joined the Technical Team and started to serve. That time, I knew in my heart that God was preparing me for the next season of my life. July 2022, God Slowly revealed the woman He prepared. It was on Crossover Manila when I first noticed a girl with a facemask, has beautiful eyes and you can't deny her passion to serve God. After that I could not forget her and she was always in my mind. I always saw her in Crossover, Sunday Service and her passion to serve God and people. That moment my heart desired to know her more and started praying for her.

It was in 2022 when the Lord planted a special vision in my heart — to desire a Godly family. I remember so clearly, I was doing my daily devotion, reading Luke Chapter 1 — the story of Mary visiting Elizabeth while both of them were carrying promises from God. From that moment, I realized how important it is to build a family according to His divine plan, just as He carefully orchestrated the lives of Mary and Elizabeth. Curious and a bit puzzled, I asked God in prayer, “Lord, why are You telling me this now?” I wasn’t even asking for a partner then; I was already so content and secure in His love. But after that prayer, God gently stirred my heart — telling me that someone would pursue me. I couldn’t help but laugh at the thought! I honestly didn’t believe it. How could that even happen? I had no close guy friends except for the ‘kuyas’ in our church, and my hands were full with so many responsibilities. But truly, God is faithful and always true to His Word. Because just months later… a friend request popped up — and it was from Rio. Little did I know, he was the very one God had prepared for me all along.
